About the event

NLAA January Acting Lab: Youth Session (Ages 10–18)

Enrollment Opens December 15

The Northern Lakes Arts Academy presents the Youth Session of the NLAA January Acting Lab, a six-class acting intensive designed for young performers who want to build confidence, technique, and creative expression in a supportive environment.

Across three weekends in January, youth artists will train in a structured curriculum that blends Uta Hagen fundamentals, Laban movement, breath and voice work, character development, and ensemble practice. Classes are taught by NLAA Executive Artistic Director Ian Francis Lah.

This pilot year is intentionally small, with only six youth slots available, ensuring each student receives individual coaching and focused attention.
