Disney’s Newsies Jr. follows a group of young newsboys who take on the most powerful newspaper publishers in New York City in a story about courage, friendship, and standing up for what’s right.
Created in just two weeks alongside the professional Broadway in the Boundary Waters company, this youth production features local young performers bringing one of Broadway’s most high-energy musicals to the Vermilion stage.
Filled with explosive dance numbers, unforgettable music, and a cast giving everything they’ve got, Newsies Jr. is a celebration of the next generation of theater-makers in Ely.
