Call of the Wild Poetry nights are back with a seasonal lineup of themes that follow the rhythm of the Northwoods. Each evening begins with a 30-minute workshop to spark creativity, followed by an open mic where anyone can share their work or simply listen.

The Poetry Series Ely Has Been Waiting To Return
Poetry has always been the heartbeat of the Northwoods. This season, Ely’s poetry nights return with Call of the Wild Poetry, a monthly gathering at the Vermilion Fine Arts Theater, 1900 East Camp Street.
Each evening begins at 4:30 PM with a 30-minute workshop led by Northern Lakes Arts Association teaching artists. These sessions are designed to help you grow as a writer, experiment with form, and connect with others. At 5:00 PM, the poetry night begins with an open mic where anyone can share their work or simply listen.
Each session will also be recorded and turned into a podcast episode. If you would like your poem featured, this is your chance to have your voice shared with a wider audience.
